Dear colleagues and friends,

We welcome you and are delighted that you are participating in the 10th Conference of the Baltic Association of Paediatric Surgeons being held in Kaunas, Lithuania.
   Our Conference is a three days meeting with scientific sessions -lectures, oral presentations, posters' exhibitions and also with social activities. Each scientific session will start with a lecture given by one of the invited speakers, outstanding World paediatric surgeons. Following oral presentations will be delivered by paediatric surgeons from three Baltic countries and the guests on the actual topics of paediatric surgery. You could overview the posters at the lobby of the Conference hall.
   Nearly one hundred abstracts were accepted. This large number reflects the increasing research activity among Baltic paediatric surgeons.
The delegates and accompanying persons could meet old friends and make new contacts in informal surrounding at Welcome Reception, Conference Banquet and Farewell Party, which will be held at the restaurants in the centre of the city, few minutes by walk from the Reval Conference & Event Center.
We are looking forward to welcome you in Kaunas in September, 2008.
